Kudos® Apple Tree | G-935 (40% Size) - Bare Root (Spring 2026)

Kudos® is a new new apple variety from the famous University of Minnesota's apple breeding program. It was created by crossing two great apples from the same program, Honeycrisp and Zestar!®. Kudos® bring the best of both worlds together. Crisp, delicious apples similar to Honeycrisp with a more vigorous and grower friendly tree.  Trees grow fairly upright and neat growth habit and have shown moderate tolerance to apple scab.

1/2" or greater caliper and well feathered (branched)

4 -5 foot tall

Trees are on a smaller semi-dwarf Geneva 935 rootstock, making for a wonderfully balanced tree that is productive and produces fruit in fewer years than standard rootstock. G-935 produces trees around 40% of standard size around 10' tall with nice wide branch angles. One of the best choices for smaller yards and those who want easy picking fruit.  G-935 is a standout, modern rootstock that is disease resistant, highly productive, early to produce fruit and won't sucker or produce burr knots. 

Kudos is also available on the larger semi-dwarf rootstock G-890 (60% size)
