OrangeRed apricot is a cold hardy apricot from the Rutgers University breeding program. The tree has good vigor, is predictably productive. The fruit is high quality and on the firm side which improves storage time and it's ability to tolerate handling.

Trees are grafted onto Krymsk 86 (K86) full size (12-15' tall), high performing, cold hardy stone fruit rootstock selected in Russia. It is very well anchored, tolerates a wide variety of soil conditions, including some wetter soils as it is resistant to most root diseases.
Apricot trees are self-fertile (Trees don't require more than one tree to produce fruit, but having a second to improve pollination can increase the amount of fruit produced by the trees.)
