Stardust is a yellow sweet cherry with white flesh that originates in B.C. Canada. Trees are self-fertile and do not require another pollinator. It is a vigorous tree with a spreading growth habit that is resistant to bacterial canker and brown rot. Stardust is not self pollinating and does require another compatible sweet cherry for pollination. Summit sweet cherry is our recommended 2025 pollination partner for Stardust sweet cherry.

Trees are on Gisela 12 rootstock. It is premium, semi-dwarf (60% of standard), precocious and resists suckering. Trees are widely adapted to various soil types, well anchored and have spreading, open branch structure. Gisela 12 has proven to be more tolerant to heavier, wetter soils than CT500 Mahaleb rootstock. All of these characteristics make for and excellent cherry tree for any home or acreage.
