Sugar Pearls is a cold hardy Apricot from Rutgers university.  It blooms later than most apricots which improves it's ability to produce fruit in our northern environment. Fruit has a very sweet, honey flavor with nearly white flesh. The trees are vigorous and productive.  The tree is considered self-fertile but growing another apricot alongside it will improve pollination and fruit production.  Our 2026 recommended pollination partner for Sugar Pearls is OrangeRed Apricot.
