A European pear developed in Ontario, Canada it's no wonder it brings excellent cold hardiness. Less obvious, it also brings many characteristics making it a great pear for the back yard or even back 40. Trees produce annually, are fire blight resistant and self-fertile, meaning you only need one unlike many other pears trees. Fruit is well sized with a red blush having sweet, mellow flavor that is sure to please.

Trees are on OHxF87 rootstock, a premium semi-dwarf rootstock, roughly 80% of the size of a standard tree. It produces trees that bear heavy and early compared to traditional rootstock trees. OHxF87 is very winter hardy, resistant to fire blight and pear decline.
