Arkansas Black Apple Tree - Bare Root (Spring 2025)

Arkansas Black is a unique heirloom apple variety.  It is disease resistant and produces fruit that is extremely crisp with dark burgundy skin.  Storage life is incredibly long.  Apples hang on the tree late into the winter and are valued by bakers, cider makers and even make a great wildlife apple.

Semi-dwarf on EMLA 111 rootstock that produces larger semi-dwarf (80% size) trees that are very well anchored and can handle heavy, poorly drained soils well. Trees on EMLA 111 are a good choice for backyard or acreage growers who want a tree that is smaller than standard yet can provide some valuable shade.
