Bell European pear is a brand new variety from the USDA-ARS Appalachian fruit research station. It is highly resistant to fireblight, vigorous and productive. Fruit is very well balanced, sweet and juicy and can store for up to 5 MONTHS!
Trees are not self fertile and will require another European pear variety for proper pollination and fruit production. All European pear varieties that we sell can be used as a pollinator for Bell.
