CrimsonCrisp® is a newer apple variety that produces some of the best tasting apples around. Sweet, crisp and with hints of honey this apple is sure to please the taste buds. Trees produce deeply colored medium sized apples and are grower friendly, field immune to scab and brings some resistance to rust, fire blight and mildew. Trees begin produces fruit quickly and have a month long harvest window, holding apples on the tree. Aside from being terrific fresh it is also excellent for desserts.

Semi-dwarf on the modern rootstock Geneva 969. G-969 will produce smaller semi-dwarf (45% size, 8-12' tall) free standing trees that are very productive, cold hardy, resistant to fireblight and woolly apple aphid. G-969 is one of the best semi-dwarf rootstocks for lower vigor varieties like Honeycrisp and can improve the chances of yearly fruit production. When planting in open areas with high winds staking with bamboo is recommended.
