Harrow Sweet Pear Tree | OHxF97 (80% Size) - Bare Root (Spring 2026)

Harrow Sweet European pear is another great variety from Agriculture Canada Research Station in Harrow, Ontario. Trees are excellent late season pears being reliable, precocious and medium is size.  Fruit is very high quality with juicy, sweet flavor, yellow blush in color and good for fresh eating, preserves or canning. Fruit stores up to 10 weeks.

Trees are resistant to fireblight and mildew but somewhat susceptible to scab. Trees are not self fertile and will require another European pear variety for proper pollination and fruit production. All European pear varieties that we sell can be used as a pollinator for Harrow Sweet.

Trees are on OHxF97, a premium semi-standard size rootstock that is cold hardy, productive, precocious, resistant to fire blight, pear decline and have great anchoring roots. European pear trees on OHxF97 will typically grow to a mature height of 10-16' tall or 80% standard size.
