Long John European Plum - Bare Root (Spring 2025)

Long John European plum produces very large, dark blue, high quality plums. The tree is very productive, grows upright and has good vigor. Long John is self-fertile so it can be grown alone but will benefit from cross pollination with another European plum tree. Our 2025 season pollination partner for Long John is Stanley European Plum.

Trees are grafted on certified Myrobalan, a widely adaptable rootstock that tolerates wet and heavy soils.  It is vigorous, more disease tolerate, has fewer suckers and produces fruit in less years than seedling rootstocks.
