Royalty Purple Raspberry - 3 Gallon Potted

The best performing purple raspberry variety for the area.  Tall, high yielding, insect resistant canes produce the sweetest, large purple raspberries that are superb fresh or used in jam or jellies.  Simple trellising after the first year is recommended as canes are tall and vigorous.

Adapted for growing zones 4-8.

• Mature, fruiting plants in large 3 gallon root pouch pots.  (Quicker to establish but are more expensive and effort to plant than bare root.)

Summer-bearing raspberries or also called floricane-bearing raspberries because their fruit ripens in the summer months. Canes produce fruiting laterals only on second-year canes (floricanes).  For more information of growing raspberries visit the University of Minnesota raspberry production page.
