Shenandoah is a modern pear variety that is reliable, grower friendly, vigorous and quick to produce fruit. It has much better fireblight resistance than older pear varieties. The fruit is juicy, sweet and can store for up to 4 months with proper storage. Another european pear as a pollinator is required for fruit production, AC HarrowCrisp or Potomac can be used.
