Stanley European Plum produces large, dark blue plums that of excellent quality that are great fresh from the tree, preserves, canning or drying. Trees are hardy, heavy, annual producers and fruit ripens around labor day. Stanley is mostly self-fertile so it can produce fruit alone but will benefit from cross pollination with another European plum tree. Our 2026 season optional pollination partner for Stanley European Plum is Long John European Plum.

Trees are grafted onto Krymsk 86 (K86) full size (12-15' tall), high performing, cold hardy stone fruit rootstock selected in Russia. It is very well anchored, tolerates a wide variety of soil conditions, including some wetter soils as it is resistant to most root diseases.
